1. Acceptance and authority
By activating API access, you accept this version of the API terms and confirm that you may accept them for the named API consumer. The general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
2. Developer plan
The free Developer plan is for evaluation and integration testing. It provides one test credential, read-only scopes, and the request and monthly credit limits displayed in the console. Paid or production use requires an activated commercial plan.
3. Credential security
- Keep the API key in a server-side secret manager; do not place it in browser, mobile, desktop, or other distributed client code.
- Do not share, sell, publish, or transfer the key or let another API consumer use it.
- Disable or rotate the key promptly if exposure is suspected. You are responsible for requests made before the key is disabled.
4. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the API to build and test the intended integration disclosed during activation. You may not evade limits, create duplicate identities or credentials, probe non-public systems, disrupt service, scrape or bulk-extract datasets, reverse engineer protected components, misrepresent API output, or use the service unlawfully.
5. Data and output
Send only data you are authorized to process and avoid unnecessary sensitive or confidential information. API output may be incomplete or incorrect and is not medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Your application must present appropriate notices and human review for consequential uses.
6. Limits, changes, and suspension
Rate and credit limits are enforced on the gated API and may be adjusted with the applicable plan. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, the platform, or third parties; investigate misuse; meet legal obligations; or address unpaid commercial service. APIs and preview features may change, be deprecated, or become unavailable.
7. Fees and commercial access
Activation of the Developer plan does not authorize paid or production capacity and does not create a charge. Commercial plans, support levels, and additional rights apply only after separate checkout or a signed agreement is active.
